A workshop space dedicated to maker and digital culture for 7-15 year-olds

With two rooms, this permanent space offers a multitude of DIY, construction and problem-solving activities, with the aim of encouraging young people to push their limits, offering them a space where they can explore, experiment and imagine the world of tomorrow using both low-tech and high-tech tools.

3D Printing Workshop

Booking

During this workshop, participants will learn how a 3D printer works by designing a small object that will be printed on-site and incorporated into a collaborative artwork. They will also explore other 3D printing methods, such as using 3D pens.

First Sunday of the month

The process will be simpler, with an overview of the space and activities, as well as demonstrations of 3D object printing;
No online reservations are required on the first Sunday of the month; free tickets are available at the ticket counter only on the day of the event, subject to availability;

10:30 a.m. time slots are sometimes available during school breaks, on public holidays, and on long weekends. Check the schedule on our online ticket office.

Planète Sciences Occitanie organizes workshops for children ages 7 to 13 who want to explore scientific and technical activities in a fun way. Depending on the topics covered, participants are encouraged to use their powers of observation and curiosity to develop a group or individual project. At the end of each workshop, parents are invited to view their children’s work.

School and leisure offers

The Plateau créatif also welcomes groups on weekdays, by prior arrangement.

All workshops

At Plateau créatif, maker spirit and digital culture come together to create a unique learning environment. It also fosters the appropriation of new digital tools, be they video games, social networks, digital creation or media education.

This space is stuffed with tools, machines and technologies adapted to young people, to enable them to make and experiment in a safe and inspiring environment. In workshops led by facilitators, they will be able to manipulate laser cutters, 3D printers, pliers, electronic cards, sewing machines, green backgrounds and many other resources.

Aimed primarily for children and teenagers, with friends or family, it is also a learning space for leisure centers and school groups from CE2 to seconde.

To achieve this, the Plateau créatif uses collaborative and creative mediation techniques, encouraging young people to experiment and learn from their mistakes.

The Plateau créatif is a space in parthenship with the associations Instant Science and Planète Sciences Occitanie.
